The gang is hanging in there. Lee and Whitney are clearing out Vandals from a warehouse and Todd is killing Acolytes on the moon. The graphics on this game are very impressive. The gameplay is phenomenal. Whitney’s boobs are perky. Life at The Weird Robot Secret Sewer Lair is good.
Not Whitney’s actual boobs…
What have we learned so far? The shotgun is favored over the fusion rifle. Swarm grenades are useful against Shanks (They home in on them). The Hunters are both preferring to rock a sniper rifle with something full auto. Use your supercharge abilities against the eyeballs. You CAN pick up a sword at one point (But don’t try and use it against the Swarm Princes).
So far I’ve only seen one sword. I’m assuming… there can be only one.
One of the biggest things to help you out is your supercharge ability. Once activated, you drop orbs of light that help fill up your teammates’ supercharge meters so they can use their supercharge and drop more orbs to fill your meter back up. The ciiiiiiiiiircle… the circle of liiiiife.
This can be extremely helpful when playing as a group.
The Titan (Tank) does the Fist of Havoc (Which I once paid an entire paycheck to do to a woman who wasn’t clean). You punch the ground and do a bunch of damage in the immediate area. Very useful if surrounded.
The Warlock (Wizard) basically does a kamehameha. It’s technically called a Nova Bomb, but I know a kamehameha when I see one. This sends out a large wave of Solar Light that vaporizes anything in your path (Except hipsters… they love vaporizing). The Hunter (Thief/Rogue) whips out the Golden Gun from Goldeneye and starts chest raping everyone. It’s actually called the Golden Gun.
Everything comes back to Goldeneye… always
Lee- Headshots are key. Not only do they substantially increase the damage done but they also let you pick up more special ammo… also, talk to the Hunter Vanguard as often as possible no matter which class you are (Nathan Fillion does his voice),
Whitney- “Shoot fast, look pretty.”
Todd- “Upgrade your sniper rifle. Move while you shoot. Make like House of Pain and jump around, jump around.”
On a side note, I have come to the conclusion that Todd’s downstairs neighbors must HATE HIS GUTS. With his headset on, he has no ability to lower his voice. More later.
